What is a Diamond Report?

 

The characteristics of a diamond are documented in a Diamond Grading Report.

These reports are issued by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which is among the most established and respected organizations in the diamond industry.  The diamond is appraised, measured, examined using trained eyes, a microscope and other industry tools.  The “Four Cs”, as well as its’ measurements and other aspects that contribute to the diamonds’ uniqueness.  The diamond report also includes a laser inscription with a serial number. You can easily view the certificate information from the GIA report database.
